We had an excellent stay from October 7th to 12th in cottage #6 with our dog. Everything has been recently renovated: it's modern and welcoming. I only have one suggestion: add a hook to the bathroom door for towels or bathrobes.

We had a very pleasant stay at Gîte Roche des Ducs. The premises were spotless, and the gîte's amenities were excellent. The water features were superb, as were the sauna and hammam. The interior décor added a special touch to the gîte. The beds were very comfortable, and the manager was very welcoming. It's a great place for a relaxing stay. .

We organised a family reunion over Easter weekend with the rental of 4 cottages.
We stayed 3 nights in cottage #11. Everything was perfect; the apartment is magnificent with high-quality materials. The bedding was superb. The equipment was perfect, the balcony is very large, and the relaxation area is a bonus. We were able to enjoy both the indoor and outdoor spaces in an exceptionally green setting.
The owner and his daughter are very pleasant and helpful. The welcome was more than perfect. .
If you need to recharge and have a pleasant stay, don't hesitate.

It's a fantastic place, full of walks and local crafts to visit. We'll be back to explore further.
Regarding the relaxation area: The opening hours are generous, allowing us to enjoy it at our leisure. The only drawback is having to walk through the entrance corridors of the accommodations to get from the pool to the relaxation area. It's rather unpleasant to bump into fully clothed vacationers when we're in our swimwear.
Regarding accommodation (n°7): The layout and design are very well thought out. However, a few small things are missing:
– in the bathroom, clothes hooks and a soap dish in the shower
– in the kitchen, a crepe pan and scissors

We stayed 2 nights in cottage number 5.
A truly enjoyable moment.
Everything was excellent: the welcome, the very comfortable, pleasant and beautifully renovated accommodation, with high-quality materials.
The setting is truly incredible, calm, and relaxing.
Numerous hiking trails nearby.
The relaxation area is a real plus.
Everything was clean and well-maintained.
The ping-pong table, the pétanque court and the goats make it possible to spend a pleasant time with the family.
The owner is available if needed. He is concerned about the well-being of the vacationers.
Our only regret was that we wanted to extend our stay by one night, but it was fully booked.
All the more reason to come back.

The accommodation is even more welcoming with its chalet-style atmosphere. The thermal and sound insulation is excellent. A very relaxing place with plenty of activities nearby. BRAVO!!!

A bright and welcoming cottage, superbly well-equipped with a sunny terrace which we thoroughly enjoyed during this summery week… in October!!!
Having a 15m swimming pool all to myself – a happy coincidence! – was pure bliss!!!
In short… Serge and I wholeheartedly recommend that visitors to this site stay at the «Roche des ducs» gîte.
Excellent stay – a pleasure to recharge as a family – the accommodation is magnificent, made entirely of high-quality materials – the common areas are superb and very well designed – everything is clean – the relaxation areas (hammam, spa, pool) are absolutely sumptuous – I'm usually very critical, especially since I always travel with my two daughters (so we have different expectations). And I must admit that I have absolutely NOTHING to complain about! My whole family agrees to return very soon – A thousand thanks to the owner for this stay. We lacked for nothing except time to extend our stay!
Magnificent cottage in a splendid location. Everything was perfect! The cottage was very well-equipped and spotless, with a terrace for relaxing in the sun. Magnificent cottage, fully equipped with top-of-the-range amenities. The bedding was incredibly comfortable and cozy – everything was fantastic! And what can we say about the outdoor facilities? A superb outdoor pool, another indoor pool, and private jacuzzis available by the hour, plus a jacuzzi, sauna, and hammam open for extended hours. Ping-pong, pétanque, children's games, and more... We truly had a wonderful (too) short stay! There are plenty of activities nearby (hiking, lake, electric scooters, etc.). We will definitely be back! Excellent value for money. Mr. Bontemps is incredibly attentive while remaining very discreet. We thank him for this wonderful experience.

A magnificent place. Well maintained. A stylish apartment where you feel right at home, with a superb large terrace. The beds are made upon arrival and the bedding is of very good quality, even on the sofa bed. The indoor pool with a private jacuzzi is a real bonus, even though the property also has an outdoor pool. We didn't use the public sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi, but they are also a bonus with free access. A ping-pong table and pétanque court are available. We appreciated the peace and quiet and the view of the forest with the sound of the river. The owner, Mr. Bontemps, is a very friendly, attentive, and discreet person. A high-quality artisan baker and pastry chef is a 5-minute walk away, which is also a significant advantage.

During our stay from August 25th to 31st, we appreciated the owner's availability and kindness, the peaceful atmosphere, and the sauna, hammam, pools, and jacuzzi – we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The accommodation was top-notch. We highly recommend this gîte and will gladly return.
We had a wonderful week in cottage number 10. Everything you need is there; you don't need to bring anything from home to cook. The cottage is very spacious and well-equipped. The outdoor and indoor swimming pools, sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi are a real bonus. There's also a children's playground, a pétanque court with boules, and a ping-pong table. Plenty to keep you entertained on site.
The cottage is very well located. Walks are possible directly from the cottage and are suitable for children. The cottage is located not far from La Bresse and Gérardmer.
Bakery a few minutes from the cottage and supermarkets about 15 minutes away.
The owner is very friendly and we can easily contact him if we need anything.

A superb family holiday in a very pleasant setting. The pool, sauna, and jacuzzi were fantastic! The children also enjoyed the goats and the playground. A sure bet! Peaceful, relaxing, and ideally located for skiing between La Bresse and Gérardmer. Just like last year, we had an excellent stay! Clean, spacious, and quiet—it was perfect!

We spent a week there in February 2019. There were seven of us, and not all of us were skiers. This gîte is an excellent compromise for everyone, as it's close to the slopes for those interested in skiing, without disappointing those who don't. The cleanliness, space, and equipment provided in the accommodation were impeccable. The relaxation area is very pleasant, and the owners are charming and attentive. We had no unpleasant surprises during our stay.
We had a pleasant stay in our rental. The spacious apartment, though without a balcony or terrace, was well-equipped and located on the first floor, with easy access. The pool and jacuzzi area was a real plus, especially with its convenient opening hours. The accommodation is 15 minutes from Gérardmer, and there are several waterfalls to see nearby, offering plenty of opportunities for lovely walks in the surrounding area.
Having come for the Daffodil Festival, the Roche des Ducs gîte is getting better and better!!! The welcome is always top-notch… the pool and jacuzzi are impeccable and very much appreciated. We can only recommend this place of peace and relaxation. GO THERE without hesitation!
I highly recommend Gîte de la Roche des Ducs. I stayed there in February during the carnival holidays with my two boys, aged 8 and 12. The accommodation is spacious and very clean. Gérardmer is 10 minutes away, which is very convenient for shops, restaurants, etc. The ski slopes are also nearby, depending on the snow conditions (15 minutes to La Bresse). After cold days on the slopes, it's so nice to come back to the Gîte, and after a good meal, go down to the pool area and relax in the hot tub – it's simply divine! Don't miss out: be sure to book an evening at the Kota Grill. Tucked away at the back of the property, you go there with a flashlight, the goats accompany you, and you enter another world, timeless and secluded: a kind of small, cone-shaped cabin, all wood, with circular benches surrounding a large wood fire. We brought our own meat, salads, and drinks, and cooked whatever we had planned. A delightful little evening with my two boys, during which we did nothing but cook, chat, laugh, and solve the world's problems…all by the light of the wood fire (the only source of light apart from a string of lights), accompanied only by the crackling of the logs. Fantastic!

Accompanied by our two little girls (7 1/2 years old – 3 1/2 years old), this reservation was made a bit by chance…and a week before the stay!
Upon arrival, we were immediately charmed by the cottage and its grounds. Mr. Bontemps, a very friendly man, gave us a very warm welcome, and our accommodation, which was very functional and well-equipped, delighted us.
During our stay, we were able to enjoy all the facilities. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were a hit with both children and adults!
The "family-oriented" clientele of this gîte was an additional and much appreciated advantage for us.
We will gladly return to Gite Roche des Ducs and we recommend it without hesitation.

We had a lovely stay at GÎTE ROCHE DES DUCS. The owner gave us a warm welcome and clearly explained how to access the swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi. The apartment is very clean and sunny. It has everything you could need. Access to the pool, sauna, and jacuzzi is excellent, with a wide range of opening hours. The outdoor area is lovely, with a picnic table, barbecue, and pétanque court. It's perfect for a family with children. The scenery is magnificent. We hope to return in winter to explore the region and, of course, to stay at GÎTE ROCHE DES DUCS again. .

This is our fourth time here (and not the last :-)) and we are still delighted with the services offered by this gîte.
The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The relaxation area is superb; even with all the cottages booked, these spaces (pool, sauna, and jacuzzi) are never crowded – a real treat!
The Gîte des Ducs is truly an excellent place to stay, not to be missed.

A lovely short stay during the All Saints' Day holidays, total relaxation, and the sun was shining. The owner was fantastic. If you book there, I recommend renting the grill cabin – a wonderful time with the family.
Breaking away from the daily grind. This place is just like its owner… Welcoming: Nothing is missing, all the comforts, just like home, better than home… After the first day, the birds continue the warm welcome from Christian BONTEMPS, our host. Cozy: The two swimming pools and jacuzzis are kept at a constant 28 degrees Celsius all year round… Guaranteed relaxation first thing in the morning and/or after a hike, exploring the surrounding area (from 9 am to 10 pm). The place is clean and family-run: Christian maintains it constantly with his son and daughter, managing everything… yes, a family affair… Like family, we go back to see it regularly; I've already booked one of the two accommodations for next year.

We had a fantastic stay, there were 16 of us, ranging in age from 4 to 64, and everyone found something to enjoy. Sledding, skiing, ice skating, walks, sauerkraut in Colmar… And a real bonus was the swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sauna, which delighted our teenagers! We'll be back!

We had a wonderful stay in early January 2020. We received a very warm welcome with helpful advice on all the local attractions (which are also displayed at the entrance). The managers were very helpful, and, as an added bonus, we were able to bring our dogs! The rental was lovely and well-located in the Vosges mountains, a relaxing setting with beautiful walks, and a swimming pool and spa available for guests. We'll definitely be back!

Another excellent stay at the "Roche des ducs" gîte. The welcome, the cleanliness of the gîte and the facilities, in the context of the health crisis, were simply perfect.
We spent two wonderful weeks with our children in this beautiful setting. The accommodation was fully equipped and very clean. The owner was attentive and helpful. The green space was lovely, especially for the children who could play safely with their friends. And the added bonus was the sauna, jacuzzi, and swimming pool after our lovely walks. We will definitely be back for another holiday.

A very pleasant week. The cottage is spacious and well-equipped. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Hand sanitizer at every entrance... and a very welcoming owner... lovely walks to do in the surrounding area with young children... we will be back for a third time!

Comfortable bedding, fantastic jacuzzi pool, peace and quiet, ideally located 10 minutes from Gérardmer and its many activities, shops nearby. We'll be back next year for two weeks this time.

The cottage is very well located, allowing you to discover the Vosges and nearby Alsace, and there are hikes to do on site.

We had a wonderful stay with friends. The cottage was fantastic, a complete change of scenery. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi and the pool, a real bonus for this rental, and we had a superb evening in the Kota Grill. We will definitely be back!
